USTA Southern California is pleased to announce the return of two major tournaments to the 2020 competitive calendar, and both Signature Series events are now open for registration. This year’s much anticipated Open Sectionals and Junior Sectionals have been rescheduled, and both are coming fast!

The 133rd Southern California Open Sectionals is set to begin October 23-25, concluding on Saturday, October 31. The tournament, featuring men’s and women’s singles, will be held at Costa Mesa Tennis Center. The draws will be capped at 64 players and will include consolation draws. Doubles and family competition will return at the 2021 event.

The Section’s most prolific annual tournament, the 118th Jim Hillman Junior Sectional Championships, is scheduled to kick off on October 31 and stretch over two weekends in both Orange County and San Diego. The event concludes on Sunday, November 8.

One of the largest junior competitions in the United States, Junior Sectionals will welcome boys and girls 16s/18s to Barnes Tennis Center for the entirety of the tournament. Remaining divisions, including 10s, 12s, and 14s, will play opening weekend matches at Costa Mesa Tennis Center, the Racquet Club of Irvine, and Laguna Niguel Racquet Club.

All Junior Sectional quarterfinal, semifinal, and championship finals will be hosted at Barnes Tennis Center, beginning Friday evening, November 6, thru Sunday.
